logx=2-log5

OpenStudy (anonymous):

log10 is 1 log 100 is log(10)^2 = 2 logx = log100 - log 5 log x = log(100/5) log x = log 20 x = 20

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that is a nice answer. can also do \[\log(x)+\log(5)=2\] \[\log(5x)=2\] \[5x=10^2=100\] \[x=20\]

thank you
