anyone?!
myininaya (myininaya):
average velocity is change y over change of t
myininaya (myininaya):
just count over 3 times on the x-axis and count up by 3's until you get to the curve to figure out what y is
myininaya (myininaya):
it is too blinding to me

webassign lol
myininaya (myininaya):
.25(3)=.75
i counted 8(3) going up the curve
myininaya (myininaya):
but i'm not sure if thats right since i went crosseyed doing so
OpenStudy (anonymous):
you really have to count carefully here. very hard to see
myininaya (myininaya):
so that's one ordered pair we will use (.75,24)

myininaya (myininaya):
now it says to use (2,?) also to find average velocity
myininaya (myininaya):
(2,3(2))=(2,6)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
for the first part, draw a secant line (touches the graph in two spots i think) between the point on the yellow curve where time is .75 and the point where time is 2.00. Measuer the slope of that line
myininaya (myininaya):
so use your slope formula to figure out the slope of the secant line passing through (.75,24) and (2,6)
OpenStudy (anonymous):
fo rthe second part measure the slope of the green line

for the third part velocity is zero at minimums and maximums, in other words where the orange graph starts increasing.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i hate this question =(
myininaya (myininaya):
i know this doesn't help you but i hate your question that is really bad for one's eyes
myininaya (myininaya):
but i did help you with the first one
OpenStudy (anonymous):
lol i'm sorry..i just need help lol

do you know how to find the slope of that line running though (.75,24) and (2,6)
myininaya (myininaya):
\[\frac{24-6}{.75-2}\]
OpenStudy (anonymous):
slope formula....which is i think y2-y1/x2-x1?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
or opposite lol
myininaya (myininaya):
no thats fine
