\[-15x^6y\]
when you multiply two bases to an exponent you add the exponents together (-5)(3)x^(2y+4) -15x^(2y+4)
-15x^y+4
I read that as: \[(-5x^2y)(3x^4)\]
i think the y is part of the exponent since they are monomials
