What are the shapes and locations within an atom of s and p orbitals?

OpenStudy (ookawaiioo):

The s-orbital is spherical shape like a ring. The p-orbitals are more like bowling pins. There are Px, Py, and Pz. So take methane the hybridization is sp3. Two electrons are shared in one s-orbital, and all 3 p-orbitals (6 electrons). This give the carbon the complete octet and making it stable.
