The following problem uses this equation: 2HCl + Na2CO3 --> NaCl + H2O + HCO3-. A student weighs .03745g of unknown and dissolves it in 45mL of water. A .1145M of HCl is used as a titrant. When the reaction is complete, 17.21mL of HCL is used. What is the estimated % Na2CO3 in the unknown?
