lim x->4 (-x^2+11x-28)/(x^2-4x) So the limit is 3/4 but how do I end up getting that answer? The steps?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

\[(-x^2+11x-28)/(x^2-4x)\] Factor out an x in the denominator, factor the numerator. \[(-(x-7)(x-4))/(x(x-4))\] Divide out the (x-4) \[-(x-7) / x\] Now use direct substitution to find the limit as x approaches 4.
