How to handle with dfferent video formats in Moodle

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I used Moodle at a community college here in North Carolina and I know that I included video in Moodle. I am now using Blackboard 9.1 at the university and have embedded many vidoes from You Tube, which is easy as they provide you with the embed code, or you can search You Tube directly in Blackboard and bring in any video very simply. However, getting back to Moodle, by far the easiest and best way is to create your own website on a domain somewhere in the Cloud and place your videos there. Once that is established then you can send students there through a simple URL code. I am dong that right now and it works fine. wmw
