for the first one, you plug g into f. For the second one, you plug f into g, think of them as \[f(g(x))\] and \[g(f(x))\]
\[f(g(x))=6(x ^{2}+2x-3)-3\] \[g(f(x))=(6x-3)^{2}+2(6x-3)-3\]
