Boyles law squeezing a balloon is one way to burst it. Why?

OpenStudy (espex):

Well, I would say it is because as you decrease the volume of the balloon you increase the pressure of the air inside it. At some point the pressure will be greater than that of the atmosphere outside which will cause the balloon to pop.

And now a great way to remember which one Boyles law is is by thinking Boyles balloons :) that way you don't mix it up with charles, gaylussacs, etc
