what is stiochiometry

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Basically it is a way to relate relative amounts of molecules. It is used in chemistry a lot to figure out how much of each reactant and product I can make. For example if I have: \[2KClO_3(s)→2KCl(s)+3O_2(g)\]2KClO3(s)→2KCl(s)+3O2(g) for every 2 moles of KClO3 I can make 3 moles of O2, or with 6 moles of KClO3 I can make 9 moles of O2.
