i actually got that it is undifferentiable becoz left hand derevative is -infinity and RHD is +infinity. plz check it and reply soooon.

left handed limit=x/{lxl} =x/-x =-1 when x<0. right handed limit=x/x=1 when x>0.. so the function is discontinuous at x=0. hence non differentiable at x=0.
