Show an equation and solution for the problem. Larry and Cartman live 800 miles apart. They are driving toward each other to meet on the road, keeping cell phone communication as they go. They both left their homes at 8:00 A.M. If Larry is driving an average of 60 mph and Cartman is driving an average of 65 mph, how many hours will it take to meet each other?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

their combined speed is 60+65 = 125 mph how long goes it take to cover 800 miles at 125 miles per hour?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I dont know lol

OpenStudy (anonymous):

800 miles/ 125 miles per hour is 6.4 hours :) so an equation for for this could be x= 800/125

So how would i put that to like answer the question
