how many atoms are present in 3 moles of chromium??? If you know the answer I'd love the help :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a mole of atoms always has 6.02x10^23 atoms, so just multiply by 3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Ya, this seems like a weird question for them to specify chromium, because of the fact that the mole to atom ratio is always the same. Are you sure they didn't give the weight for the amount of chromium, because that is usually what basic chemistry questions will do. Also this is more of a chemistry section question, for future reference.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ya, that's the exact question from the paper. And sorry, we're doing review right now in my class, so i just kinda assumed...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think what Konus said is correct.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And biophil, I think they've given chromium just to confuse you. I would agree with konus, just multiply 6.023 * 10^23 and 3.
