Note that the derivative of \[\tan^{-1} x\] is \[1/(x^2+1)\] I think you can figure out the solution from here.

Cal1994, that's a little incorrect. The answer is \[(2/\sqrt{3})\tan^{-1} ((2x)/\sqrt{3})\]

realised after i posted it because on that problem to get the derivative you would have had to do the quotent rule
