Calculate the quantity of work, in joules, associated with the compression of a gas from 5.64 L to 3.35 L by a constant pressure of 1.21 atm

OpenStudy (rogue):

I haven't really done this before, so I'm not sure about my answer.\[dV = V _{1}^{} - V _{2}^{} = 5.64 L - 3.35 L = 2.29 L\]\[W = P dV = 1.21 atm * 2.29 L = 2.7709 L*atm \]\[1 L*atm = 101.101.325 J\]\[W = 2.7709 L*atm \rightarrow 280.76 J\]
