A skater travels in a straight line 8.5*10^2m[25 degress N of E] and then 5.6810^2m in a straight line [21 degrees E of N]. The entire motion takes 4.2 min. What is the skater's displacement?
I've tried 2 different methods. Cos Law and Pythagorean Theorem. Re-doing Cos Law right now cause I think it was my calculator's fault (rads instead of degs)
I'm done. Dissappointing end result.
I got 1311.83m.
I got 786.24m
1.3*10^3m.
I see... so I got it wrong and you got it right
Really?
\[1311.83m\approx1.3\times10^3m\]so yeah, lol
ok. What about the angle? correct one is 24 degrees E of S.
You need the components of your vector for the way I know how to do it, but I apparently made a mistake earlier...
Ok. I'll try some method. If I have a problem. I'll ask again. Thanks for the help.
what help? haha
Affirming my answer, and allowing me to stop working on that part.
