OpenStudy (anonymous):

There is apotential difference of 150 volts between two conductors of a power line .A charge of 600 C is carried from one conductor to the other. What work is required? If the time necessary to transport the charge is 1.25 s how much power is used?

OpenStudy (jamesj):

\[ Work = q \Delta V \] Hence it's straight forward to calculate the work done here, as \( q = 600 \ C \) and \( \Delta V = 150 \ V \). Power = Work/Time, so now you can also calculate power.
