If the total size of memory is 1MB (220 Bytes), and its addressability is 32 bytes, how many bits of address are required to address all of memory?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would it just be 2^32 using 2^n?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

To adress 1024Bytes you need 2^10 that means 10 AdressBytes. With a 32Bytes Adressbus you can adress 2^32 Bytes which should be roughly about 3Gigabyte.

thanks!
