Will kilogram of hydrogen contain more atoms than kilogram of lead?Explain.

OpenStudy (mani_jha):

Do u mean 1 Kilogram? Then yes. See 1 mole of an element(i.e the atomic weight of it in grams) contains \[6.02\times10^{23}\] atoms. So the more the no of moles more is the no of atoms. I kg H = 1000/2 moles = 500*A molecules=500*2*A atoms where \[A=6.02\times10^{23}\] 1 kg Pb=1000/82 atoms Clearly H's is greater
