Okay, so im factoring these trinomials right? no biggy, but then i realized, im stuck... heres what i have so far (5x^2+10x)(-3x-6) then that goes to .... 5x(x+2)...... but the next one would it be a negative # or positive # on the outside??????
ok I can do this
wait sry it's trynomials
nevr hurd of it
if it helps, the original problem is 5x^2+7x-6
well, the instructions say to factor the trinomials, i used the formula ax^2+bx+c
\[5x^2+7x-6\]\[=5x^2+10x\ \ -3x-6\]
yeah....
That should help get you started.
You should be able to work on from here.
\[=5x(x+2)-3(x+2)\]
i already have that, then i grouped them and i dont know if the second section should have the coefficiant thing be negative or positive...
\[\Large=(5x-3)(x+2)\]
okay.... im a little confused on how exactly the numbers are distibuted to the outside...
take first to terms and factor the common out... then the last two
okay, and what if it has a variabe with an exponent?
What?
