The graph of a system of parallel lines will have no solutions. Always Sometimes Never
Always
sometimes
x+y=1 2x+2y=2 have all solutions
can u show me how would u solve it?
multiply the top by -2, combine them and get: 0=0 when does 0=0?
i think this is called trivial solution, it exist, but not used
lol, its used ...
granted that they are the "same" line; but its still a system of parallel lines that has at least one solution
Always The example given by amistre64 is an example of coincident lines. Line that lie on-top one-another are called coincident line, not called parallel, they intersect at every point.
yes, the question is about parallel, the never intersect
i wonder if the person who wrote the question that this came from knows that :/
thanx 4 the medal, but i really like to know the right answer
if we are to define parallel as wholly different from coincident; then the answer is never otherwise my concept would be correct .... i would defer to the person who wrote the material from which the question was obtained :)
so they will "never have a solution" OR The graph of a system of parallel lines will have no solutions. "Always"
