Explain the term ‘quantized’ as it applies to the energy of electrons. In your answer include an everyday example of something that is quantized

the energy that an electron has can be split up into a certain number of discrete packets of minimum size. An electron may have many of them, but each "packet" can only be a certain size. In real-life example, a set of stairs is quantized. You can take 2 or 3 stairs at a time to get from the bottom to the top, but each stair is of a set, definite, smaller size
