I'M SO CONFUSED! :( Can somebody please explain particle to mole to mass etc conversions?! It would help if I got written step by step instructions for each scenario. Thanks, please help - I'm really lost here and I've got a test coming up real soon!

Particle to mole: if you have the number of particles, you divide by 6.02x10^23 (Avogadro's number) which is, by definition, the number of particles in a mole. Particle to mass: First find the number of moles as above, then multiply by the molar mass . . . Mole to mass: Find the molar mass of the substance you are looking at (a periodic table would be useful for this) Then multiply this mass number by the number of moles you are given. Hmm, I think that's it . . . besides the reverses of the above, for example, mole to particle: multiply # of moles given by 6.02x10^23.
