(a)What is the wavelength (in nanometers) of light having the frequency of 8.6x10^13 Hz? (b) What is the frequency (in Hz) of light having a wavelength of 566nm?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

velocity of light in vacuum/air = 3 * 10^8 . velocity of light(any electromagnetic wave) = frequency *wavelength.. putting in this formula velocity and frequency, you get wavelength in metres. then multiply by 10^9 to get value in nanometre
