Find the limit if it exists lim x->INF [1-(2/x)]^3x

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I believe it is 1 because inside the parentheses you would have 1-0=1, so 1^3x as x=>INF would always equal 1. Only tried the right hand limit.

is it e^(-6)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

look it has a formula for 1raise to the infinity form its limit x-->a [f(x)^g(x)]== limit x-->a [e^{(f(x)-1)g(x)}] apply this and u'll get the req. result..:) all d best
