Rank these ions according to ionic radius from least to greatest. Rb+ Se^2- Br- Sr^2+ As^3- I understand as you move left then down they get bigger, but I don't understand how the numbers and charge affect that.

as you move to the right on the periodic table the ions get smaller (i know this is counter intuitive; but conciser extra protons will pull all the electrons closer )
