how do I figure out the graphing linear inequalities y>-4/5x

To graph a linear inequality, you graph the line that the inequality would represent as an equality (so in this case, y=-4/5x). Then you pick a point in one of the regions on either side of the line. Plug the point info (x and y coordinates) into the inequality. If the inequality is true, then lightly shade the entire region on one side of the line where the point was taken. Does that make sense? :)

Oh i forgot to mention that the line you draw for the inequality is solid if the inequality is "less than or equal" or "greater than or equal" but dashed if it is "less than" or "greater than"
