Find the anti derivative of (x-5)^(2)(x+1)/(x-1) so I did a double substitution set u = (x - 5) du = dx then s = (u-4) s + 4 = u ds = du which got me here as I just kept breaking up the integral. (x-9)^(3)/3 + 8(x-9)^(2)/2 + 20(x-9) + 16ln|x-9| + 24ln|x-9| + 6|x-9| + c

((x-9)^(3)/3) + (8(x-9)^(2)/2) + (20(x-9)) + (16ln|x-9|) + (24ln|x-9|) + (6|x-9|) + c ugh I mean this

is this correct?

OpenStudy (experimentx):

simplify and make partial fractions ... that shouldn't be difficult.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

yeah it isn't thanks
