The diagram shows a circuit with a potential divider joined in series with a fixed resistor. What are the minimum and maximum readings which can be obtained by the voltmeter? A- 0V/ 2V B- 0V/ 6V C- 2V/ 4V D- 6V/ 12V The first value indicates min. reading while the second value indicates max. reading.

If it comes to Potential divider (questions). First of all get the proportion of the resistors, rather the ratio..in this diagram the ratio is 1:1, so the voltage supplied is divided into the ratio 1:1 1/2 * 4= 2, that is the maximum voltage that can be recieved in this proportion, minimum reading will be 0, if its nt conncted

actually, if the alpha particle acts on the particle trough the nucleus (the amount of protons repel the alpha particle) but if it is 90 degrees then theres an error in the question
