What is the total sample size (in grams) for a sample of magnesium nitrite which contains 0.92 g of oxygen? My answer was wrong (32.34g)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Mg(NO2)2 find molar mass or O2 and then convert that to moles and compare the amount of moles in a mole to mole ratio with the other elements in the compound.

Got it =) My mistake was that when i put oxygen into my equ. i forgot that oxygen is a diatomic. So instead of 32 i was using 16. Thanks for the help =)
