Iron (II) Sulphate FeSo4,was added to the ammonium sulfate solution to produce ammonium iron (ii) sulfate hexahydrate (NH4)2SO4.FESO4.6H20 what mass of iron (ii) sulfate should be added to the ammonium sulfate solution [3]

i feel like there's soemthing missing in this question, perhaps the initial amount of ammonium sulfate...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok dont worry, forget i asked, this is pretty much a maths question... :) ill just work it out, then explain it for you now.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok :)

so ill do this in parts.. parts as in 1part per fifty five thousand and eight... or more realistically 1part NH42SO4 1part FESO4 and 6 parts H20 so thats a ratio of 2:1:1:6 in molar masses... because i dont know the units of the rest of your question.. ill summarise the q now: FeSO4 was added to NH4)2SO4 so i think you just have to say 1mol to be added to make this... or 7/10 of the total solution, because there's 6 extra moles of water there.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok ill do that and i was also thinking of another alternative way i think if we can gett the molar mass of the product and subtract it from ammonium sulfate solution because the masses should b the same
