Okay so the formula is J/(grams x Degrees Celcius) The joules you are given is 60.6 The grams is 15 The Degrees is the CHANGE in temperature which is 34 - 25 = 9 So: 60.6/(15*9) Gives you 0.4488888888888 Which rounds to: 0.449 By checking that on the table you'll get your answer :)

Thank you so much. I'm studying for the ACT and this book doesn't explain the answers too well. I have one more question? How many liters of chlorine gas can react with 56.0 grams of calcium metal at standard temperature and pressure? Show all of the work used to find your answer. Ca + Cl2 CaCl2
