A certain resistance thermometer at triple point of water has resistance of 152.0 Ê. What is the temperature of the system in degrees celcius when the resistance of the thermometer is 230.51 Ê?

I think we need to know coeffecient of resistance to solve this question. The formula used would be. See the page --> http://www.rdfcorp.com/anotes/pa-rtd/pa-rtd_02.shtml

Or Resistance at 100 degree C . Anyone would help. t= ( (R_t - R_0) / (R_100 - R_0) ) * 100 R_t-->resistance at temp t R_0 --> resistance at temp 0 degree C R_100 ->resistance at temp 100 degree C

i think the answer is 141 degrees----- if 152E at 273k then 230.51 is 141

Yes maybe. It maybe simple ratio and proportion sum :)
