surface area of triangle is easy to find once you know length and base so.. altitude of triangle by pythagoras theorem h2= (16/2)2 + (15)2 knowing the altitude and base (is 16) find area of triangle (1/2) altitude * height ... multiply this by four because there are 4 triangles... and add 3*(16)2 which is the are of the three sides of square...
