Please Hepl. True/False: 1. Rebox reactions are very uncommon in our daily lives. 2. The natural decay of our universe is to great extent the result of oxidation-reduction reactions. 3. Any changes in ion charge depends upon the transfer of electrons. 4. Oxidation causes an increase in electrons. 5. A reduction system requires that atoms show an algebraic increase in ion charge. 6. In an oxidation-reduction, many more electrons are donated than are accepted. 7. The term electrochemical implies that chemical energy is being converted into electical energy.

tell me ur ans first... and reason sso i can help u further

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1. T 2. T 3. F 4. T 5. F 6. F 7. T

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmm my ans are diff in some points 1.F 2.T 3.T 4.F 5. sorry dunno this one 6.F 7.T

OpenStudy (anonymous):

can you plz tell me y you think 1, 4 is true and 3 is false

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i didnt know them, so i guessed.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Can you help me with 3 more? 8. Oxidation numbers are arbitrary numbers assigned to an atom within a molecule. 9. The oxidation number of any substance in its atomic state is zero. 10. The oxidizing agent is the compound that donates electrons. & my guesses are T, T, F

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok listen 1. is false becoz redox reaction are ocmmon in our daily life example u see when you dissolve sugar in water the crytalss of sugar get dissolved here redox reaction is taking place and much more... 2.due to redox decay is possible as by redox elements get weak due to which bonding btween them get weak and are easily breakable..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u only need ans ? ok den 8.T 9.T 10.F
