Thermodynamics: The system consists of a cylinder with movable piston. It contains 0.7moles of an ideal monatomic gas. The initial pressure is 1.0e5 Pa and the initial volume is 0.005m^3. If the volume expands to 0.02m^3 under isobaric conditions, find the heat absorbed by the gas. I'm not too sure what equations to use for this question?

OpenStudy (earthcitizen):

under isobaric conditions\[w = p Δ\]\[V = nR Δ T \]\[w = nR Δ T\] Ideal monoatomic gas, \[\Delta Q = nC_p\Delta T\]

I still don't understand.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

u should the first law of thermodynamics.do you know that?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it says|dw:1335629546707:dw| delta U=change in internal energy of the sysrtm delta q= heat supplied delta W= work done by the sys for isobaric process delta w= pressure*change in volume
