what are isoelectronic and isostructural species? those with same no of electrons or those with same no of valence electrons?
listen isoelectronic species are having same no. of electron like Na+ F- Mg+2 if u count electron u ll find all have 10 electrons means same no. of electron
ok are they isostructural also?
isostructural means isomers?
i have no idea....
my useless chem teacher told me isoelectronic means species with same no of valence electrons and they are also isostructural... a question based on this was in aieee 2012
nah isoelectronic can never be isostructural as in isoelectronic species no. of electrons are same and in iso structural species molecular weight remain same only arrangement can differ these are charachteristic property of these topic ok
ok thx lemme see the resonance solutions
ok :)
isoelectronic=same number of electron and isostruc=which have same number of hybridization ,geo,shape
iso=same
