Can someone tell me what each of the variables mean in the equation, "q=mC(delta)T" along with an example of how to solve it by using a Chemical reaction.

Q is heat M is mass C is specific heat kJ/C Delta T is change in temperature Tfinal-Tintial. How much heat is generated when you heat water 10g of water from 10C to 50C, the specific heat of water is 4.184. I just made that up on the spot but I could copy and paste a difficult one from my homework if you'd like
