yes it is correct :) but this one doesn't have a phase shift (at least not one we can see)

so you need to know that equations of the form\[y=A\sin(Bx+C)\]have \(amplitude~A,~period=\huge\frac{2\pi}{|B|}\) and \(phase~shift=C\)

yeah it is, but that doesn't really help us so now you have to graph it the graph will be the sine graph, but shifted \(c=\frac\pi2\) units to the left \(a=6\) units high, and repeats itself once every \(T=\frac{\pi}3\) units http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=sin%28x%2B1%29

that was a general idea of these kind of graphs her is your actual graph http://www.wolframalpha.com/input/?i=sin%28x%2B1%29 as you can see, shifting it pi/2 units to the left turned it into a cos this website is powerful if you learn to use it, do not abuse it

do not rely on it for understanding all the time. You \(will\) fail your exams if you use it as a crutch otherwise enjoy it wisely :)

there is no way we can abuse it.. they created this website to help students who are having difficulty.. Its a great tool to learn!!

you can get used to letting wolfram solve many problems for you without telling you why. it is important that you can do it after \(without\) wolfram that matters, so as long as you use it that way...

but yea true.. if others use it crazy then its a fail.. coz they just type and see whithout understanding the concept..
