a certain metallic carbonate is isomorphous ith mgco3 given that the atomic weight of the element is ~137.4 what is the weight % ofement in oxalate of the element??? explanation
if i got this one right the element is set by task and when you look in periodic table of elements Ba has weight of ~137.4 so it is word about BaCO3. now that you know its BaCO3 you just calculate molar mass of CO3 which is 60 and you add it to 137,4 and get molar mass of BaCO3 which is 197,4 and then divide 137,4 with 197,4 and get that Ba is 69,6 % of that molecule or that oxalate is 100-69,6=30,4 % of molecule
hey the option are ~72, ~61,~55,~47
~61 cause that is molecular weight of CO3...
so how will i write the steps.....
wait can you retype that part of task from ~137,4 to ??? so i see if i got it right cause you made a lapsus in typing
a certain metallic carbonate is isomorphous with mgco3 given that the atomic weight of the element is ~137.4, what is the weight % of the element in oxalate of the element
ok i see now its oxalate C2O4 and not carbonate!!! so answer is ~61 cause that is weight % of Ba in BaC2O4!
hey plzzz can u upload the steps as u did for other question plzzzz
ok here you go:
thanxx
