The magnetic quantum number of an electron (m) designates the: electron's main energy level electron's direction of spin orientation in space of the orbital (electron cloud) overall shape of the orbital (electron cloud)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Magnetic Quantum Number (ml): ml = -l, ..., 0, ..., +l. Specifies the orientation in space of an orbital of a given energy (n) and shape (l). This number divides the subshell into individual orbitals which hold the electrons; there are 2l+1 orbitals in each subshell. Thus the s subshell has only one orbital, the p subshell has three orbitals, and so on.(not written by me)

why kind of university doesn't allow you to go into different websites though?

a high school

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhhhh, that explains it, I'm guessing conceptual physics class?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well really it's Chemistry but their basically the same thing. I'm just so in the dark about all the information due to no one teaching me it in the past. If I don't get these two semesters done within these 10 days I don't graduate.

wow, well message me through Facebook if you want and I'll try to help as much as i can
