Anna applies a force of 19.5 newtons to push a book placed on a table. If the normal force of the book is 51.7 newtons, what is the coefficient of kinetic friction?
\[F=mu N\]
Answer Choices ; A. 0.01 B.0.20 C. 0.38 D. 0.48
WHICH 1?
why don't you solve with the formula and find out?
I COULDNT READ IT WHAT IS IT? F= WHAT?
F is force applied, mu is coeffitient of kinetic friction and N is normal force..
i dont gave that on my fourmla chart:/
you push the book with 19.5 newtons to the right, friction holds the book backwards, therefore; 19.5 - ForceFriction = 0 19.5 = Force Friction (Force of friction = (coefficient of friction)(normal force) we know the normal force 51.7 newtons, therefore 19.5 = (coefficient of friction)(51.7 newtons) 19.5/51.7 = coefficient of friction
well its cuz this is a 5 question quiz and i have to get 4 or 5 right to pass..and my teacher said i dont have to pass as long as i finish my work then she will pass me cause im not going to summer skool she let us google the answers 2 but sometimes they dont work lol:/
Risky ; So we mutiply those 2 numbers? 19.5 times 51.7 or we divide?
divide:)
Mkay hunn hold up lol
i got 0.37
is thatt right?
if you can divide correctly it should be :p
i got it right lol:) thank you boo
can you help me more or no?
