Why is it a good idea to carry out a titration experiment more than once? Also when I convert the volume from mL to L is that okay?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1) you have to do at least 3 times a titration experiment cause of human error, and bunch of other errors you wouldn't see if you do just one experiment. 2) converting volume is ok, i dont get your question (mL=cm3 and L=dm3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ml to litre?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

converting millitres to litre is that okay or do I have to stick to mL?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

'cause then when I find moles it will be mmol for mL... yet they still have the same answer--> mol/L

OpenStudy (anonymous):

when I'm looking for concentration, sorry D:

OpenStudy (anonymous):

if nobody requires the unit to be in mL i dont see why you would not convert if you have large volumes... example: 12000 mL(cm3) you freely convert to 12 L (dm3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohh, i see. alright, thank you!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

converting units in concentration is often required cause they want to see if you know how to convert units so yes, often is result required in mol/dm3
