What is the experimental probability that exactly 3 children in a family of 4 children will be boys? Assume that P(boy) = P(girl). Solve by simulating the problem. Please explain.

Everyone who does this problem will get a slightly different answer. I would get four coins to toss. Suppose you let H represent a male child and T represent a female child. Before tossing the coins, make a chart with: Zero Boys One Boy Two Boys Three Boys Four Boys When you toss the four coins, count the number of Heads and place a mark in the chart next to that number of boys. Repeat for 50 tosses of the group of 4 coins. That represents 50 families of 4 children. Look at the total of the families that had three boys. Divide it by 16 and that is the experimental probability of a four-child family having exactly three boys of the four children.
