in iodine u see its in 17group mean 7electron Hydrogen in 1group mean 1 electron helium is an exception it contain 2electron and kept in 17group carbon contian 4 electron as it is kept in 14 group

elements are classified in different groups according to valence electrons. A second group element will have 2 electrons in its outer most shell
