How do I determine the theoretical yeild of a reaction? Needs a step by step details and preferably an example!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Remember Theoretical yiled is A/T x 100 = Percent yield

thats the experimental yield. the theo yield is a little bit more complicated. yield=moles of limitant compound in reaction*(#stoichiometry of product/#stoichiometry of limitant reactant)=moles of product, if you want it in grams just multiply this and Molec. weight. this will give you how many grams of product are sintetized, all theorical porcentual yields are 100% , if you want the real yield of reaction you divide exp yield/ theo yield*100

not from US. so im not very good with chem. in english. srry. nooot :D
