Help me balance, I'm stuck on the Oxygens. I'm supposed to insert proper coefficients. C2H6O2 --> Co2+H2O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

C2H6O2 + 5/2 O2 ---> 2CO2 + 3 H2O this reaction is reaction of combustion so you need to add O2 to reactants...

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its ethane undergoing combustion C2H6 + 3.5O2= 2CO2 + 3H20 if it was an ethanoic acid there would have been 4 Hydrogen atoms not 6 :D hope this helps
