Use the collision theory to explain how increasing the surface area of a solute will increase the rate of the dissolving process.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

by increasing surface area you increase the area that solvent molecules can collide with and by doing so you increase the solving rate

It is like dissolving a sugar cube, and then increasing the surface area. That would make the sugar cube dissolve faster. Ty @kryten!!
