initial velocity = v
final velocity after travelling 0.9m = 20% less than v = v - v/5 = 4v/5

Apply third equation of motion to find out 'a'.

Find out the distance when which the final velocity is 'zero', that is when the bullet comes to rest. Using this find out time taken for the bullet to stop. Now you can find out average speed etc etc.
