117 118 119 plzzz answer it with steps

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

For #117: distance travelled = 0.9m initial velocity = v final velocity after travelling 0.9m = 20% less than v = v - v/5 = 4v/5 Apply third equation of motion to find out 'a'. Find out the distance when which the final velocity is 'zero', that is when the bullet comes to rest. Using this find out time taken for the bullet to stop. Now you can find out average speed etc etc.

OpenStudy (apoorvk):

The next part. Hmm, very well Now the question says there is an increment of 'v' m/sec, per second in velocity. Any idea what that may mean? ;) (HINT: the units)

Well well?
