Integrate 1/y^(5/6)

OpenStudy (lalaly):

\[\large{\frac{1}{y^{\frac{5}{6}}}=y^{-\frac{5}{6}}}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

answer = 6(y)^1/6

OpenStudy (lalaly):

do you know how jeson found that @hmidante

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Could you show me please

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Y=1\[Y=10^(-5/6)\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how to show all working here? difficult type

OpenStudy (lalaly):

sure \[\huge{\frac{1}{y^\frac{5}{6}}=y^{-\frac{5}{6}}}\]\[\huge{\int\limits{y^ndy}=\frac{y^{(n+1)}}{n+1}}+C\]so applying this on ur question\[\huge{\int\limits{y^{-\frac{5}{6}}dy}}=\frac{y^{(-\frac{5}{6}+1)}}{-\frac{5}{6}+1}+C\]

Thanks very much. Really helpful! Also, to you other guys as well
